Katara is beyond unreasonable! Blaming Zuko for the something he had nothing to do with! And she is a hypocrite because she spent the last 3 seasons acting superior to people with fresh grievances or immediate access to vengeance. Then at the 1st opportunity she does exactly what she judged others for.
Also, she barely started to “trust” Zuko for like a millisecond before Aang busted through to rescue her and they ran off leaving Zuko and Iroh alone. He never owed allegiance to the people he was raised to believe were his enemy, so it makes sense that he would jump at a chance to join his sister and return home to his family and people. Especially since we have seen moments of him be kind and vulnerable to people who were not fire nation only to have them hate him for his race rather than accept him for the actions they saw.
