Hobbits have hairy feet yes but what you don’t know is their feet are denser and more durable than humans, dwarfs and Elves. Making it unnecessary for them to wear shoes because they can walk on most terrains easily.
The Hair from given to gimli is very meaningful. She is so powerful her hair is pure magic. her uncle if im not mistaken asked for her hair and she told him to fuck off basically. He was one of the best craftsmen the elves ever had but he was wicked in his heart. gimli a dwarf an enemy of the elves and she willingly gave him 3 hairs. he is very good at heart that he becomes a diplomat between them given the alias elf-friend.
This is the video that made me finally decide to subscribe to the patreon, SO excited for you guys to react to these movies! Welcome to the Tolkien Family! <3
Part of what they cut out were about 25 minutes of the 30 minutes of credits. Most of those credits were actually various fan support groups, so the theatrical release, when it comes to actual movie scenes, is only about half an hour shorter. But they cut out a lot of little scenes, like Aragorn singing about the Elf maiden who died in the swamp early on, or most of Galadriel’s gift giving.
